Help with terrain
« on: June 14, 2010, 05:04:10 PM »
I have a heap of old 40k buildings that I have no interest in using and they're just collecting dust. If there is anyone out there that would like to paint them and what not for the club. Please let me know.

I'm not after anyone who wants to take them then sit on them for months with nothing happening. I'd be happy to let someone who can give them they love they need for the club asap.

hmm..... i dont mind painting, but i don't really have experience painting terrain.
I'm sorry.

Only one way to learn :)

By that I mean see me at the next club meet and I will give you a few buildings to have your way with if you would like to do it (FOR THE CLUB)

I actually have a 40k building that i just remembered i have in a drawer. I'll paint it and bring it in. I can definitely give a hand with the terrain painting if that's what's needed :)

We will also be getting a lot of Amera plastic terrain. This stuff is super cheap and awesome.

So if anyone wants to help, go to the amera website ( http://www.amera.co.uk/ ) and pick some stuff you like and we will short list it.

We're looking at 200-300$ worth of stuff. Just post what you like here with the product codes.

Amera looks awesome (cheap!).

That small castle keep, F214, looks pretty sweet.

The hill-top ruin, F204, is similar but also nice.

How are you for rivers? there are nice bridges and curved rivers and stuff...

That Ministry building in future zone kicks ass.

But back to the meat and potatoes, I'l have a look at what you have and if I see something that I don't think i'l screw up, I'l do my bit for the club.
