Its a Land Raider... ANOTHER fast chassis...
Unless i'm missing an FAQ (most likely) The codex doesn't say that any of the land raiders are fast.

Most are, but i can't find a rule anywhere that says all or them are fast, and it doesn't say that any Land Raiders are in their codex entry.

all Blood Angels rhino based vehicles are fast, all land raider variants can Deep Strike. Neither does both

but the point of those 5 marines, is that they will destroy their target, which in most cases will be an opposing hammer. And at 1200pts, their is not many of them hanging around ;p. And as they dont score, they are completely expendable. And in kill points they will still take a 1-1 ratio.
Not all the time, with only 5 it would depend on the person that launched the assault (unless it was guardsmen or gretchin), the dice gods favour the one that is better equipped but often just laugh at them. a few hours ago i witnessed 10 Assault Marines and a Sanguinary priest get butchered by 5 I2 litchguard without causing a single wound first?!?!?!?!?!?
if you are taking irreplaceable units that are unable to stand up to 5 assault marines your doing something wrong. remember, they cant assault if the razorback moved giving you a whole turn to launch a counter.

I'm not saying this isn't a hard list, it is. but Fooble, you are overestimating it, its has a serious Achilles heal in those troops.

I thought he was talking about the 5 Death co (4 and chappie), my mistake.
Yeah those 5 non jump pack assault marines wont make much of an account of themselves against a serious opponent. Most times, if they are outside of a transport they are huddling in a crater going to ground ;p

I'm considering running this list as a space wolves list, i'm not sure if it would be any better thou... also i think i've decided that these models will be in my list, i just need to figure out how to best play them.

your attitudes to the miniatures are going to hinder your army, you have chosen the fastest and easiest way to do something new, but is new the answer. Were i doing this i would really ask myself if i had enough time to build and paint an effective army in the timeframe given and if the other miniatures i already have would be fine with a little bit of tweeking. despite your relevant arguments about wanting a change is now really the time to do it?
Are Space Wolves the answer? I don't know, but the list you have made could benefit from some fleshing out and you are investing to much hope in that Land Raider as seen in the game last Saturday.
At the end of the day its your list and your Arc and i would approach it differently, but you need to consider what you want out of both the list and the tournament (and the accompanying $60). Would you be happy with a this army, its looks, its results and the experience of playing it.
My advice is to take a list of miniatures that are almost (if not completely) all finished and to add minor adjustments to it, not only refining the list but allowing you more time to paint the miniatures and thus eliminating the stress of rushing.

Feel free to disregard this if you don't agree with it, and know that is you do decide to continue with the new i will provide any help you need to get it off the ground. As long as you are certain about the list

I'm perfectly happy playing with a sub par list. I can make top teir lists and win easily, but what i enjoy is taking a worse list and putting my tactics to the test (hence the swarm list last arc). If i really wanted to win games and enjoy myself i'd take my IG valk army and turn 2 wipe them off the board, but that doesn't take any skill from me. I can easily paint this in time for ARC, i've half finished 2 tanks and a LS in the last week.

TLDR: I'm going to disregard your last post and play with these models
