GW rumoured to restrict foreign sales in new trade account terms

So rumour is that there is going to be a new trade agreement that will prevent stores selling overseas. This will mean you'll no longer be able to get GW stuff from places like Maulstrom or Wayland.

We should find out on Monday/Tuesday about it, if this is true it's pretty lame for players of the GW range as the Australian prices are horrifying. May also drive a lot of people away from GW and to more affordable games.

It's been run as a corporation since it went public. It's main goal is to make a profit. Companies like PP, etc aren't public and are run by gamers so their focus isn't just to make a profit. That's not to say GW doesn't want to make a fun product, it's just that they have to put the shareholders first.

Yeah I've been following this on other sites as well.

In one way, it is awesome for aussie retail stores (like my fav, the phoenix forge) as right now they are competing purely on customer service and loyalty.
On the other hand, GW antics are really annoying me over the years and pushing me away from the game slowly and steadily.
